I was born and raised in Stratford ON, but moved to Guelph after graduating from Lambton College and have been practicing there for the last 10 years. While I have loved living in Guelph, my family and I am are excited to have recently moved back to Stratford. I am so excited about the opportunity to work in both communities!
When I am not working, I have the joy of being a wife and mom to our young family. I also love listening to podcasts/audiobooks, drinking tea, exploring watercolors, and I have a (not so) secret love for all things Royal!
I look forward to working with you!
In 2008 I was in a car accident that left me experiencing headaches and mild whiplash. I connected with a family friend who was an experienced RMT and was blown away at how I felt after our treatments. I had been told by friends and family that I should look into massage therapy but I was reluctant- I thought I wanted to become a midwife. It soon became clear to me that I wouldn't thrive with the schedule (or lack thereof) that came with being a midwife but soon realized that as an RMT I could still care for and connect with people.
In 2011, I graduated from the Enchanced Massage Therapy Program at Lambton College, completed my provincial registration exams, and became a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Since my registration, I have practiced in both Guelph and Stratford, ON. I have loved learning from each of my clients and I believe that therapeutic massage can be relaxing as well as therapeutic; and that if you are able to unwind and relax on the table, you will be more in tune with what your body is telling you. I think massage can play a beautiful role in a person's overall wellness and is a great tool for general maintenance. It is important to me that you feel safe and comfortable while you are in my office, so try to approach each appointment with genuine care and empathy.
