Cancellations & Missed Appointments
When you book an appointment with me, that time is set aside for you - and ONLY you. I never double book and I try to always be ready for you when you arrive. In return, I ask that you keep your promise and show up for your appointment on time. Please understand that massage therapists only get paid when they deliver a service... therefore missed appointments are costly for me and prevent me from catering to other clients. In the event that you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment with me, please contact me by email at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If I do not hear from you within this time frame, and you do not keep your appointment, you will be charged the full cost of your treatment.
Note: If you do not pass your COVID-19 screening you will not be charged for the appointment, although failure to complete the screening within 24 hours of your appointment will result in cancellation.
Please be advised appointments are booked and spaced strategically. Due to the increased cleaning between appointments, limited availability, and high demand for appointments, if you arrive late for your appointment, the treatment will still end at the designated time with no adjustment to the fee.
Please be aware payment in full is due at the time of treatment, please plan to use only contact-free methods of payment (credit or debit cards that have a tap, or email transfers). I do not offer direct billing but will provide you with an electronic receipt that you can submit to your insurance company if you have extended health care benefits.

Masks and Physical Distancing
You will be required to wear a mask while in the office (and throughout your treatment). As the client, you may wear a disposable or reusable cloth mask as long as it covers your nose and mouth entirely. If you do not have access to a mask please let me know prior to your arrival. The office and waiting room will be fully stocked with hand sanitizer, please sanitize your hands upon arrival and any time you touch your face. While the nature of massage therapy requires us to be very close, when not providing actual hands-on treatment, I am asking that we maintain social distancing by standing 6 feet apart.
You will be sent a COVID-19 screening survey via email 2-3 days before your appointment. You must fill this out. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your appointment. I will also be asking you a series of screening questions when you arrive for your appointment. Please answer all questions honestly, some responses may mean we have to reschedule your appointment, if this is the case I will do my best to re-book you in a timely manner or put you at the top of my cancellation list. These screenings are for your safety, my safety, and all clients coming and going from the office.
Arriving for Your Appointment
Because the waiting room is a shared area and I cannot predict who will be coming and going from other offices I ask that you do not come inside to wait. Please arrive as close to your treatment time as possible, remain in your vehicle, and text me with your name to let me know when you have arrived. When the office is safely disinfected and ready for you, I will meet you outside and will take your temperature with a contact-free thermometer before we go inside. Please be wearing your mask at this point. I ask that unless you are a parent accompanying your child, please come to your appointment alone.
Information collected via this website is limited to what I need to provide you with the best possible service available anywhere. It will not be sold, or rented to any individual, group, corporation or agency. Release of your information occurs only when I have your consent; or when it is required to deliver a requested service to you; or where I am required or permitted to do so by law.

Like other websites, this one automatically gathers anonymous information about you such as your Internet address, the date and the time you visited my site, and the pages you viewed. This information is collected specifically to better understand how my website is being used and to improve its effectiveness.

When you send me e-mail or when you request an appointment with me, I acquire your email address. I use your email address to acknowledge your appointment request and/or reply to your questions, and I may store your communication and my reply in order to provide you with a high level of client support. I may also use contact information collected on this website to contact and correspond with you regarding the services that you requested and other related services I may offer.
When you book appointments through my website, I collect and store information about you necessary to complete your booking and to ultimately provide you with the requested services.
As a Health Information Custodian (HIC) under Ontario's Personal Health Information Privacy Act (2004), I am bound by law and ethics to safeguard your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information. It is absolutely not my practice to buy, sell or trade private information.
My responsibilities include:
Collect only the information that may be necessary for your care
Keep accurate and up-to-date records
Safeguard the medical records in my possession
Only when it is deemed necessary for your treatment, and with further written permission, will I contact other health care providers outside the clinic
Information may be shared with another health care provider (including any member of a regulated health profession under the Regulated Health Practioners Act) and organizations on a "need to know" basis only where required for your care (emergencies, serious safety issues, other RMTs in the clinic)
Disclose information to third parties only with your express consent, or when necessary for legal reasons
Retain and destroy records in accordance with the law
Your request for care implies consent for my collection, use and disclosure of your personal health information for purposes related to your care. As noted above, other purposes require your express consent.
Your rights include:
